                               Questions and Activities for Children

For teachers, parents, and students, I have listed ideas for each chapter of The Temple Curtain to help kids discuss ideas, think, explore, write creatively, and express themselves artistically.
Depending on the content of each chapter, there may be discussion questions, art projects. writing assignments, drama ideas, Bible exploration or internet research suggestions.
There are many ideas, so choose those that work for you. A teacher might choose:
*a writing or art assignment for the entire class
          *a group project
*an individual activity or activities for students to choose
The discussion questions are best used when the teacher reads a chapter to the class.

                                                Reference Books

1. Rose Guide to the Temple by Randall Price
(Rose Publishing, Inc, Torrance, California- available on Amazon)
This is an excellent book that will allow students see the insides of the temples with clear plastic overlays and 150 color pictures. The tabernacle and Solomon's temple are included, in addition to the temple at the time of Jesus which is know as Herod's temple..
2. The Kregel Pictorial Guide to The Temple by Robert Backhouse. (Kregel Publications, Grand Rapids, MI)
This interesting book includes pictures of an authentic model of the temple by Alec Garrard on a scale of 1:100. It show places like the Altar of Sacrifice with its four types of fires next to the place where animals were readied for sacrifice.
